 Long Eaton United Under 8’s away this weekend to Sherwood FC managed a 2 – nil victory taking them into 3rd in the league. The Under 9 A’s just managed to hold out for a draw (0 – 0) against second placed Dunkirk, which now puts them only 1 point clear at the top. Meanwhile the Under 9 Blues fared better when they played away to Clifton AW who they beat 7 – 1. The Under 10 Blues were also away this weekend against Gotham Rangers who they beat 5 – 0.
The Under 11’s were away to East Valley United who they lost to 2 – 1, however the Under 12 A’s put in a good performance to Sutton Town 3 – 1 at home, giving them a 1 point lead at the top. The under 12 Blue’s still struggling to find the wins lost again to Wollaton Hall Yellow 6 – 0.
The Under 13 Blue’s also lost this weekend 2 – 0 to Bagthorpe Athletic. The Under 15’s were at home to Arnold Town who beat Long Eaton 4 – 0. In
The girls football the Under 14’s beat Wollaton Hall 1 – nil and the Under 16 girls beat Arnold Town 8 – 1.
